ARCHITECTURAL CHALLENGE
This unique hill build was a highly personal expression of the client’s industrial style. Seeking to build his dream on an extremely steep site with the lightest possible touch to the earth, our challenge was set.
An extremely steep site
To start, we employed hydro excavation for the foundation works, since the site was too steep for earth moving machines. Once the foundation was poured, we had to work with extreme precision to connect the steel skeleton with the foundation anchors, pour the concrete floors and place the modular CLT panels into place.
